About the Area
Just north of Tampa, Spring Hill is a quiet town located on Florida’s nature coast with countless things to see and do. Grab a fresh grouper sandwich at one of the many local eateries, catch a play at the Stage West Community Playhouse, enjoy a weekend stroll through the farmer’s market, or catch a stunning sunset at Bayport Park.
Spring Hill is just minutes away from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, an enchanted spring that’s home to iconic live mermaid shows, river boat cruises and some of the most spectacular kayaking in the country. Oh, and be sure to bring your bathing suit because you won’t want to miss a refreshing dip in the pristine blue waters found at Buccaneer Bay, Florida’s only spring-fed waterpark.
Prefer to spend the day at the beach? Head over to Alfred McKethan Pine Island Park, the perfect place to put your toes in the sand, play a game of beach volleyball or swim in the tranquil Gulf waters. And if you want to get away for a day, Clearwater Beach, rated best beach in America and one of the best in the world, is just an hour away.
This Park has been my home since I came here 15 years ago. I wouldn’t think of living anywhere else!
