About the Area

Located about an hour’s drive from northeast Tampa, Dade City is a small, historic town surrounded by rolling hills and the picturesque pastures of Pasco County.

Downtown, you’ll find the stately Pasco County Courthouse surround by plenty of charming antique shops, quaint specialty shops, cafes and restaurants.

This lively town sponsors many popular events and festivals throughout the year, including the Kumquat Festival, Church Street Christmas and the Country Christmas Stroll, the Dade “Battle of the Brilliance” bicycle race and a “Classic Car Cruise-in” show held the first Saturday of each month. Starting November 2020, Dade City will welcome Snowcat Ridge, the first Florida snow park of its kind that will feature snow tubing (yes, on real snow!), snow play and an Alpine Village.
